Nomad Labs grew out of Nomad Studios, a Melbourne studio that spent years shipping websites, tools and products for clients across Australia: hospitality, real estate, media and the trades.

The rebrand marks a sharpened focus: software engineering, end to end. We found companies in our own lab, partner with founders for a stake, and build the platforms, internal tools and AI systems established companies depend on.

We stay deliberately small, and that's the point. Every engagement is run by people who have shipped production systems before. No account managers, no hand-offs, no junior benches learning on your budget. Working with us should feel like adding a senior team of your own.

And when we say end to end, we mean the unglamorous ends too: infrastructure, monitoring, documentation and handover. Software is only finished when it's running well, and leaving us should be easy. That's why teams stay.
